Although a new addition to the CEDAR range, the DNS 8 Live is already transforming noise control for live broadcasters such as Fox Sports and NBC Olympics, who have purchased multiple units for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Meanwhile, it has become a standard for complex studio productions such as the recent Children In Need broadcast in the UK.
"As always, we are delighted to be nominated," says CEDAR's Managing Director, Gordon Reid, "and I would like to thank the foundation and the nominating committee for again recognising our work."
"We are very proud of the DNS 8 Live, which has already made a significant impact in areas such as news and sports, controlling the sound at conventions and rallies, and broadcasting flagship TV shows."

The TEC Awards were established in 1985 to honour outstanding achievement in professional audio production and product innovation. Hundreds of entries for nominations were reviewed and voted upon by an extensive panel of veteran sound and music industry professionals in the U.S. and abroad. Winners will be determined by subscribers to Mix, Pro Sound News and Pro Audio Review, and members of professional audio and sound production organisations through online voting conducted by an independent company. Voting will take place in December.
The winners of the 29th Annual TEC Awards will be announced at a ceremony to be held on Friday evening, 24 January 2014 at the Anaheim Hilton as a special highlight of the NAMM Show, one of the world's largest music products trade shows.
