The 54th AES Conference is dedicated to exploring advances in the field of audio forensics by providing a platform for research related to the forensic application of speech/signal processing, acoustical analyses, audio authentication, and the examination of methodologies and best practices.
Following conferences in 2005, 2008, 2010 and 2012, this is the fifth AES conference devoted to the technical and practical developments in the field of audio forensics. With increasing attendance at these events, the conference has become a major opportunity for researchers and practitioners to exchange ideas and foster new approaches that address problems that are evolving every day. The conference program will include paper presentations and discussions as well as workshops on topics related to forensic audio.
The conference will be held at the Holiday Inn, Bloomsbury in central London from 12-14 June, 2014. Conference registration includes on-site lunch as well as snacks, tea, and coffee.
The preliminary schedule can be obtained from: www.aes.org/conferences/54/program/
CEDAR will be presenting an award for the best paper at the conference.
The paper will be selected by one of CEDAR's Engineering Directors, Dr. Christopher Hicks, who is a Lecturer in Engineering and Fellow of Churchill College, University of Cambridge, and a past Chairman of the British Section of the AES.
